Now it’s time to take next step, after our regular mediation (Sitting and standing) postures, we will practice the below meditation technique.

Before proceeding further, comment me the experience what you have experienced till now.

You can post  your experience & if any doubts till know, you can ask me and get clarified.

Lay down Meditation (L D M)

Lay down meditation LDM takes the concept of deep relaxation. You will learn to focus your awareness on your breath, emotions, and thoughts. LDM helps in harnessing creativity, memory & concentration. The benefits of LDM are long lasting by practicing regularly.

Over the course of LDM one moves from active thoughtful state to relaxed thoughtless state and enter the deep hypnologic state(where the logical, analytical aspect of the mind is suspended). This passive/ active state allows access to subconscious mind.

LDM brings deep rest to the body and mind. It not only rejuvenates your mind but also adds vigor to the body.

It’s a pose in a lying down position and practice of relaxation and integration into itself, LDM allows the body to heal and regenerate.

How to do LDM

Ø  Lie down straight on your back stretch your hands in a relaxed position as shown in picture.

Ø  Close your eyes and relax, I believe you are regularly practicing sitting & standing meditations, which I have mentioned in my previous blogs. By know your body and mind would be in sinc to be in relaxed state quickly (If distracted by random thought during LDM do not try to curb them nor need to concentrate or focus) but by this time you should have crossed this state, if you would have practiced meditations regularly.

Ø  Take a few deep breaths in and out. remember to take slow and relaxed breaths & observe the breath for some time, you will be naturally drawn to a state where your body feels light & your body movable parts are not reacting to your command this is the first stage. In the next stage your body movable parts react in a free will which you can just observe but you cannot control (this depends from person to person & the state of mind). This is controlled by semi conscious mind. If you fall asleep naturally, don't feel guilty once you wake up you will be refreshed.

Ø  Relax in this state for a 10 to 15 minutes initially, gradually you can increase to 30 to 45 minutes.

Ø  Slowly becoming aware of your body and surroundings, taking your own time, you may then slowly sit up, and whenever you feel comfortable, slowly and gradually open your eyes.

Ø  Amazing feeling once completed the cycle. You will be still in a slight dizzy state it takes some time to recover and refreshed

Ø  Practice the above for 24 to 36 days daily to get the desired result.

By daily practicing you can enter in and out of this state easily & effectively.

Disclaimer: The above mentioned is of my personal experience, the state achieved by practicing regularly & by following previous blogs..No claim is made of sure results as experience can differ from person to person depending upon their state of mind equilibrium.
